Keep your desktop or laptop folders and files nice and organized with these free wallpaper designs. You are going to be more productive and Marie Kondo would be pleased with your tidying efforts!

A few weeks ago I got stuck on a project for 30 minutes while trying to find a file that I KNEW was saved somewhere on my desktop. Unfortunately, I had let all the little icons get so piled up that they were starting to overlap. If you didn’t know they could do that, good for you. But for me, I knew I needed to take some action on organizing my computer desktop so I could be more productive.

While so many people get focused on cleaning up their closets or even their office spaces, the organization of your tech can be easily forgotten!

When you sit down at your computer to start a project, the last thing you want to do is waste time hunting for a file or photo. Typically, when you have to spend time searching through files, you are more likely to find something to distract you than you are to find what you were actually looking for!

Now, I am not a super organized person by nature and I have to work really hard at keeping things straight around the house. And TBH, my house is usually not organized until I know I am having company over.

But on my laptop, I never have to show my desktop to anyone, so it can get CRAZY out of control with files everywhere.

Having a desktop wallpaper that gives me a place to sort all of my files has been a game changer for me and the way I keep my screen organized.

I created several desktop wallpapers to help myself get organized and it has definitely helped me to sort my files better! You can download any of these files for free by filling out the form at the bottom of this post.

There are 4 different designs and I gave you options of using my pre-selected labels or blank labels so you can customize it to fit your needs!

  1. I love this! You are so right about getting organized too, digitally. Love your wallpapers. Luckily I don’t have a bunch of files and folders on my desktop, so I will leave them for someone else who needs them more.

Thanks for reminding me to take a look at my laptop. I’m going to see what I can do to get more organized there.
