The Most Positive Podcasts for Christian Moms

Mommin ain’t easy. It helps when we have a community to help us get through the day, but it isn’t always possible to have your mom friends by your side 24/7. I love listening to Podcasts to get me through the day and encourage me on days when being a mom, a wife and an employee don’t always feel easy.

Positive Podcasts You Need on your Playlist - Looking for podcasts to listen to during your day? Between your commute or washing dishes, add a little positivity to your life with these encouraging podcasts. Perfect for busy moms, because we could all use a little pick me up! #positivity #podcasts #momtips #motherhood

If you are looking for additional Podcasts to try, or just starting to fill your library, I wanted to share a few of my favorite Podcasts for Christian Moms.

Risen Motherhood

This podcast focuses on everything from Bible Studies to Birthday Party Planning to Mom Bods all with a Christian heart behind it. Each episode is only about 25 minutes so you can catch up after bedtime or on your commute!

Dear Daughters

This podcast is hosted by Susie Davis and it almost feels like if one of my mom’s friends was sitting down to give me great advice on motherhood, marriage and faith. Susie has lots of guests on her show so you get variety, and she has lots of wisdom to share on top of that.

The Big Boo Cast

If I could pick one person to be my best friend, it would be Melanie Shankle. She is a great writer (check out her new book Church of the Small Things, it is hysterical) and super down to earth. Show co-host Sophie Hudson is also wonderful. If you want to feel like you are talking about everyday stuff with your best friends, this is the podcast for you.

That Sounds Fun with Annie F. Downs

Just as the name implies, this podcast is fun. Annie isn’t a mom, but she brings guests on her show all the time so there is something for everyone and you get to hear from tons of different people with unique stories. And they all sound fun.

Sorta Awesome

Megan Tietz heads up this actually awesome podcast which is best described as a lifestyle blog in podcast form. Megan is sassy and encouraging and you always come away with something new to try. The episodes are a little longer at about an hour average, so it might be great to take with you on your run (or walk – because I don’t run).

Thrifty Little Mom

Kim Anderson is just like your neighbor down the street who knows all the best things to put some pep in your step as you go about your day. She has a broad range of topics, but there are always some great tips on how to do fun things without spending tons of money!

Culture Matters

This is not a “mom focused” podcast, but I get so much out of each episode and it really does prepare me to face our world in a Christ Centered way. There are a lot of questions that I have about the way our world works and how Christians should approach secular topics and this podcast tackles those questions head on.

Our kids (or friends) will ask us about these things sometime and we best be prepared!

  3. Those all sound fabulous! I also love Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey. She’s in Austin and it’s usually a great girl chat with another Christian woman. Super fun!

  4. Hi! I’ll have to check out some of these podcasts! I have to admit I’m a little biased but to answer your question, my favorite podcast is my “baby” otherwise known as “Relationship Helpers.” My husband and I are Christian therapists who release a new episode each week on topics from parenting, marriage and mental health. We so enjoy making each episode, and hope that our listeners find them helpful.
