THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN GETTING USEFUL, OR JUST PLAIN FUN PRODUCTS SHIPPED STRAIGHT TO YOUR DOOR. IF YOU ARE CONSTANTLY RUNNING LOW ON TIME OR JUST LOVE TO ‘TREAT YO SELF’, READ ON TO FIND THE BEST LIST OF SUBSCRIPTION BOXES FOR WOMEN.
In this day and age, the world has brought us the internet and easy shipping. The internet and easy shipping have given us the rise of subscription services that have a sole purpose of making our life more convenient.
Try out one (or all) of the companies on this subscription services list and thank me later for all of the joy and ease they bring to your life. I use several of these myself and I think they are all great subscription boxes for women.
THE BEST SUBSCRIPTION BOXES FOR WOMEN
Below I am breaking down the best subscription boxes for style, beauty, fitness and home products.
The Best Style and Beauty Subscription Boxes
I personally use StitchFix and love it. One of the great things about this subscription service is that you can get them monthly, quarterly or just twice a year. I get mine quarterly because I can’t resist buying the whole box every time it comes.
I signed on for StitchFix because going to the mall to search for clothes in my style and try them on was quite a time suck, and honestly not as much fun as it was in high school.
With StitchFix, I pay $20 (which is then credited to any purchase of clothes from my box), and 5 items are sent to me to try on in my own home.
And the return process is super simple, which is saying a lot from someone who has been driving around with a goodwill donation box in the back of her car for over a month. Try your first StitchFix without the $20 styling fee by using this link.
I am not an expert in all things beauty, which is where BirchBox comes in and picks up the slack. I subscribed to this monthly box for over a year and found beauty products that are now absolute stables in my beauty routine.
I found my go-to mascara through BirchBox and got more facial masks than I knew what to do with and for that I will be eternally grateful.
If you like playing with makeup or getting unique products to try out, this $10 box is well worth it.
The other added benefit of BirchBox is that I have never seen better packaging. Each month, the design of the boxes change and they really are some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and they make great decorative storage bins around the house! Get your first Birchbox here.
FabFitFun is a combination of a style and beauty subscription service. They are priced a little higher at $49.99, but you only get them once a season (4x per year), and the products are much higher quality.
You might recognize this brand because all of the girls from the Bachelor franchise seem to promote them once they get done with their runs on ABC.
For that reason, it is obviously a little difficult for me to take FitFabFun seriously, but I have to admit that the boxes do give you some big bang for your buck.
The average value of each box is $180.00. I am no mathematician, but that is a pretty good rate of return!
Items in these boxes might include full-size make-up and skin care products, jewelry, tops, or accessories. And each box has products geared toward the current season which is a big perk.
Julep is a beauty subscription service that is similar to StichFix in that they send products that are tailored to your interests and style. You start by taking a short quiz that matches you with a “beauty profile” and then Julep sends you products that you might like.
Monthly subscriptions start at $25, but the products you get are full size, not samples like BirchBox. Julep also has a bunch of great nail polish colors so expect a couple of those in your box!
I will be clear in that I am not an avid Yogi, but I love this subscription box. They send you workout clothes, that would be appropriate for Yoga, or any work out you would like to do (or laying around the house).
And they are super cute clothes.
As someone who has been wearing old sorority t-shirts for all her workouts, it has been nice to feel a little more put together when I go to the gym or a spin class.
YogaClub is also a great value. You pay up to $80 for a box and get $180 in clothing. And they typically send you a complete outfit so you that is one less thing you have to think about when you get up early to work out!
FOOD AND MEAL SUBSCRIPTION BOXES
This meal delivery service is great because there are tons of options. You get to choose from 18 different meal choices each week, which makes things a little easier when you have a picky eater in the family like I do (not my child, my adult husband).
I get caught up sometimes and think that the make at home meal delivery services are too expensive but with Sun Basket, the family size portions are $10.99 per person, which is typically cheaper than what we pay when we eat out.
So in reality, with a Sun Basket subscription, I can save time on grocery shopping and save money by not eating out. And getting to make memories with my family in the kitchen is priceless. Cheesy but true.
Ladies, a wine delivery service that knows what you like. Sign me up.
I love Winc because I don’t feel like they are judging me for only wanting 4 bottles of white wine. I am not mature enough for red wine. I like my wine to taste very similar to white grape juice that I thought was the bomb as a kid. I could not understand why people would opt for the purple grape juice over the deliciously refreshing white grape juice. And now I am an adult and can’t get on board with coffee or red wine.
Alas, Winc doesn’t judge me and gives me exactly what I want. And the bottles aren’t crazy expensive. They start at just $13. Perfect to have on hand for a housewarming gift or a dinner party.
Another great thing about Winc is that you can skip months without any fees. If you didn’t finish your 4 bottles from the previous month, you can just hit pause on your subscription and pick it back up when you are ready.
Freshly is a meal subscription that sends you premade meals that you can pop in the microwave and be eating within 3 minutes.
If it sounds like a Lean Cuisine, it’s not.
Freshly meals are never frozen and are shipped to you fresh. This is so helpful for the busy lady who needs a healthy lunch but doesn’t have hours each week to meal prep.
The Freshly meals are also gluten free so you don’t have to worry about any allergies!
